Cocoa is a warm, dark wood tone with simulated grain. It has a smooth finish and although there is tonal variance with the wood grain, the grain is printed rather than embossed. It is closer in color to a cocoa bean rather than hot chocolate. Compare it to a cup of medium roast black coffee — smooth, dark and rich. It coordinates well in homes with a lot of dark wood furnishings and flooring, but it is very versatile and need not be limited to those applications.
